3 ways to easily win a fight
In our lives, for one reason or another, we become entangled in fights and conflicts. Since Homo sapiens is a eusocial animal, this is an unavoidable fate. The phrase “enjoy if you can’t avoid it” doesn’t seem appropriate for a fight. In this case, the saying “if you can’t avoid it, let’s get over it” is more realistic. How can we overcome the fight wisely?
Use the other person’s logic
Fights happen when different claims collide. In that case, don’t make your point too much and listen to the other person’s story. So let’s dig into the opponent’s loophole with the opponent’s argument. If you succumb to your own logic, the damage you get at that time is very fatal. And when the opponent is shaken, let’s counter-punch with my argument.

Give a little and get a lot
You don’t have to win overwhelmingly in a fight. In Go, whether you win with a half house or a non-succession, victory is the same in the end. So let’s concede the parts that can be yielded and admit the parts that can be emotionally tolerated. Make your opponent feel like they’re winning. And then I try to get the most out of what I can get. It’s not for nothing that there is a word called sotamdaesil in lion idiom. People who have more than they think lose much by trying to gain little. And when the opponent comes out with a low posture, there is a moment when you think you have an advantage and lose your guard. Do not try to win unconditionally, but fight strategically while figuring out what you need to gain.
Distinguish between long and short games
Even if you are in a situation that is advantageous to you, do not get caught up in your opponent’s pace. If your opponent tries to end the fight quickly for some reason, try to make the race last as long as possible. Then the opponent becomes tired or nervous. Also, some opponents are slow starters, so they become more supportive towards the second half. In that case, let’s grit our teeth and fight with all our might. Even if you have high meta-awareness of the situation, you can compete more easily under the same conditions. Doing your best is never the answer. Timing is always important. Pick the right timing, hit it, and get a clear win.
