You are being fooled by fake happiness
Everyone wants to live a happy life. Everyone has a different definition of happiness and, of course, different ways to get it. Let’s look around. How many people are truly happy? It won’t be as easy to find as you might think. Why does everyone want a life full of happiness, but few people actually live that way? The reason is that they are being deceived by false happiness. Let’s seriously think about the representative cause of fake happiness we’ll talk about next. We will be able to fill our lives with the happiness we truly desire.
Social media
Social media has now become a part of our lives. Various social media gave me the opportunity to connect with more people more easily. This is the biggest net function of social media. However, if the name is strong, the cancer is just as deep. Paradoxically, the easier it is to connect with more people, the more likely you are to experience major side effects. I define social media as a matrix. It seems real, but in the end, the real thing is not there. Our real lives are offline. However, offline is, of course, much more constrained than online in terms of connectivity. So people flock online. Because there are more stories and more interest. There is a difference in degree, but naturally, we also try to get attention by being the main character of the story. If you post the best and most beautiful moments on social media, you will receive ‘Likes’ from people around you. Then, dopamine is released in our brain and we feel good. But that’s not the real me, and the interest isn’t the real interest either. It is a virtual image that exists on the Matrix. There are a lot of ‘thumbs and marks’, but my life is not filled with real joy. On the contrary, I sacrifice my life to fill the joy of the Matrix. In this way, many people are living a life controlled by fake happiness, not real happiness.

fake relationships
Humans are representative eusocial animals. Humanity could not have prospered to this extent without working together. So it is no exaggeration to say that human relationships are our life itself. The human relationships we have will start with family first and then expand to friends and co-workers we met through eating and living. How many true human relationships are there? Even including the family. What is a true human relationship? Each person may have a different definition, but at least if you are talking about a true human relationship, shouldn’t you know about the other person’s values or dreams? Can you establish a true human relationship by looking at the outside without knowing the core spirit of the person? Even if you think about family, which is the root of human relationships, I wonder how many cases truly know the dreams of mom and dad, and their own dreams. Actually I know the answer to this. In a previous lecture, I surveyed about 200 people, and only 20% answered that they knew their dreams accurately. If you don’t know exactly about yourself, can you really say that you understand others properly? In the end, fake human relationships start with myself. Before we can build good relationships with others, we must develop a better understanding of ourselves. So, you must first connect with the true self that exists inside you. That is the beginning of a real human relationship.
Impetuous dreams
Dreams are the driving force that sustains our lives. The essence of dreams does not stay in the realm of results. So, those who have real dreams are happy with the process. But as I briefly mentioned earlier, people who really know their dreams are rarer than you might think. It’s easy if you think of it this way. If you have been interested in studying to some extent in your life, there will be quite a few people who have studied for more than a week during the exam period. Anything else is relegated to the bottom line, and getting good test results is an absolute priority. So, have you ever tried so intensely to find a dream that is so much more important than an exam? Dreams don’t just drop from the sky. As much as I know and as much as I try, I can find a dream I can immerse myself in.
