Few people are free from what they eat. The most common way to solve that problem is to work for a company. The company is one of the places where we stay the longest and put the most energy into our lives. I think working hard in such a company is a virtue, and I also think of it as a necessary and sufficient condition for a long run. At school, I grew up learning diligence and sincerity as the best virtue. But the reality is never like that. Nothing is guaranteed as long as you work hard like a cow. What are we doing wrong?
Effort and reward do not scale linearly
The most sensitive part of the company is compensation. Required competencies change for each position
Personal development is very important for a long and successful life in the company. If you were promoted to manager because you did a good job when you were an assistant manager, now you need the ability to match the position of manager. If you recklessly work hard like you did when you were an assistant manager, you can never become a good exaggeration. Leadership is definitely needed starting with the manager, but we are a country in leadership drought selected by the OECD. The core quality of leadership is liberal arts. You have to be able to communicate widely based on culture, and you have to find the seeds of ideas, but if you don’t study or read, the company starts to become hell. Few companies last forever
Of the top 100 groups by market capitalization 50 years ago, there are fewer companies left than you might think. No company lasts forever. Keep in mind that circumstances can always change. Forget the idea of burying your bones in one company. Don’t get too caught up in the trivial tasks, and sometimes listen to the company as a whole. There is no place to resent when a company goes bankrupt even though it was unexpected. If the ability is outstanding, in fact, there are many places to go even if the company goes bankrupt. In the end, the problem is your own competence.
